About condo conversion plan notices

Summary

Before existing structures can be turned into residential condominiums in Florida, property developers must notify the structures' current tenants. In this section of EveryBlock, you can find out when the state gives permission to send the notices, so you can find out about condo projects near you.

The data comes from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and each record the provides the location of the building, the date the state approved the notices, the name of the project (if there is one) and a filing number.

Note that the state's data does not include terminated, rejected or withdrawn notices.

Source

The data comes from the Notices of Intended Conversion list on the Land Sales, Condominium and Mobile Homes Download Files page of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The database is updated each day, though notices aren't posted each day. We at EveryBlock look for new records on a daily basis.
