A thief stole a laptop computer after breaking a window on a 2009 Ford F-150 in the 19100 block of South Dixie Highway between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. Nov. 15. The owner told police he had just purchased the laptop at a store at The Falls and believes he was followed. The laptop was valued at $1,762.

Four apartments located at 17255 SW 95th Avenue were flooded by the heavy rains. "I get up every morning at about 5:30 to get ready for school and, oh, my God, water everywhere. I couldn't believe it," said Shirley Toney. "I came in waking him up, and we started sweeping. It's a nightmare."
