About lodging inspections
Summary
In Florida, state officials inspect lodging establishments such as apartment buildings, hotels and resort condominiums. In this section of EveryBlock, we publish inspection information so you can see the results of lodging establishments near you.
Each result from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation shows the date and location of the inspection, the business's name, an identification number unique to each inspection, the number of critical and noncritical violations, violation details and the disposition, e.g. the result, of the inspections.
Dispositions can range from no further action required to a warning being issued to an establishment to correct prior violations. Each report also lists the type of establishment that is being inspected, from apartment buildings to bed and breakfasts.
Finally, the state provides details about the violations, which range from the existence of fire hazards to the failure of an establishment to maintain its premises.
